the Daily Rate includes GST (NZ general sales tax). 

Deposit of 50% due on booking.  Remainder due before start of trip.

Payment in US Dollars is available upon request.

PayPal, EFTPOS or cash accepted.

Due to safety concerns, I cannot guide more than 2 anglers.

Multi-Day trips would be either in a backcountry tent or Backcountry Hut depending on location.

Waders and Wading boots and camping gear are not included.  However, rentals can be arranged through Southern Latitude Guiding.

Booking Confirmation and Deposits:

Your booking is secured with a non-refundable deposit, which is required

to confirm your trip. However, this deposit may be transferred to a

future trip (within an 18-month period) under the following conditions:

•   A written request to transfer must be received at least 90 days prior

to your locked-in trip date.

•   OR if we can successfully sell the same date(s) to other angler(s),

the deposit may be refunded, less any transaction/administration fees.

If no replacement booking can be found, and/or you have not requested a

transfer, the deposit will be forfeited.

Deposit Requirements:

•   100% deposit is required for single & half-day bookings.

•   50% deposit is required for multiple-day bookings, with the remaining

balance due no later than 60 days prior to your trip date.

•   Full payment (including any additional gear hire or licenses) is

required for multiple-day bookings within 60 days of the trip date.

Changes to Trip Date(s):

If you need to change your trip date(s), the following conditions will

apply:

•   First change: Free of charge.

•   Second or subsequent changes: A fee of NZD $350 per change (per guide)

will apply.

Please note, new season pricing will apply for any changes made.

Cancellations Within 90 Days of Your Trip Date:

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip and we are unable to find a

replacement booking, your deposit and payment will be forfeited.

If we do find a replacement booking, any refunds will be issued

promptly, minus transaction/administration fees.

Weather-Related Cancellations by the Guide:

In the rare event that the guide must cancel due to weather or safety

concerns, every effort will be made to reschedule your trip. If

rescheduling is not possible, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded,

minus any transaction/administration fees or license fees.

We will also assist with your insurance claim by providing all necessary

documentation and evidence.

Insurance:

Late cancellations are challenging for both clients and the business. We

highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that covers

cancellation fees at the time of booking to avoid financial loss due to

unforeseen circumstances.

We are not liable for any unforeseen events such as sickness, injury,

damage, loss, delay, bad weather, or other circumstances beyond our

control.

For New Zealand clients, domestic travel insurance is highly

recommended, as it can cover events not covered by ACC.

Guide Assignments:

Due to operational needs, we may need to reassign your guide. Please

rest assured that all our guides are highly skilled professionals

committed to providing an exceptional experience. If a change in guide

is necessary, we will inform you promptly.
